Brampton grew in stages, and each one shows in the houses. Bramalea’s 1960s and 70s homes still have much of their original character, stipple ceilings included; the big subdivisions of the 1990s and 2000s — Springdale, Castlemore, Mount Pleasant — are drywall and builder paint, often with high ceilings and open foyers.
