Painters in Georgetown
Halton Hills’ main town — a historic centre with newer streets around it.
Georgetown is the largest community in Halton Hills. Its older centre has Victorian and early twentieth-century homes along tree-lined streets, and most of the neighbourhoods around it were built from the 1970s onward. Like the rest of Halton, it is within easy reach of Oakville.
What homes in Georgetown tend to need
- Older homes near Main Street may have plaster, layers of wallpaper and original trim
- Wallpaper removal almost always uncovers wall repairs that need doing before paint
- Many 1980s and 90s homes are ready for kitchen cabinet refinishing
- Decks and fences are a big part of the season here
