Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site. That is your name, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, the area you are in, the service you need, the type of property, the scope and timing of the work, whether you would like help with colours, and whatever you write in the message field.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers on this website. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send in that conversation — including photographs of your property — and use it only to prepare your estimate and do the work.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you, to prepare an estimate and, if you ask for it, to help with colours. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Who else can see it

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare handles the request that carries your form submission and, like any host, keeps operational logs.

Form submissions are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, which processes the message in order to send it.

WhatsApp links on this site open WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. Anything you send there is handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy as well as this one.

Both are service providers acting on our instructions. Nobody else receives your information.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry stays in our email for as long as we may reasonably need it — to quote the work, to do the work, and to answer questions about it afterwards.

If you would like your enquiry deleted, email us at virender@harcanpainting.com and ask. We will do it and confirm.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and is entirely static: there is no database, no login, no admin panel and no content-management system attached to it. There is very little here to attack.

The one form on the site posts to a small function that validates the submission, limits how often any one address can send, and emails it on. No submission is stored in a database.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no other version of it anywhere.
