Painters in Oakville
Our home base — from the heritage streets by the lake to the new builds north of Dundas.
Oakville is where we are based, and few towns its size ask more of a painter. Within a few kilometres you move from nineteenth-century houses near the lake, through the 1970s and 80s streets of Glen Abbey and Falgarwood, to the newest subdivisions north of Dundas Street — each with different walls, different trim and different ideas about colour.
What homes in Oakville tend to need
- Older homes near downtown and the lake often have plaster walls and many layers of paint on the trim, so preparation is most of the job
- Period homes suit colours that respect the street, which is worth talking through before any samples go up
- Two-storey great rooms and open staircases in the 1990s and 2000s neighbourhoods need proper access equipment
- Newer homes north of Dundas usually still carry thin builder paint that scuffs the first time furniture touches it
Also working in: Burlington , Milton , Mississauga , Hamilton , Etobicoke , Toronto , Brampton , Georgetown , Caledon , Vaughan and Orangeville .
